Located in Kingswood, one of the most popular and exclusive villages in Surrey, Chig and Annika purchased their plot as a custom build opportunity with a Fixed Price Build Contract in place.

After spending a while researching all the options available, they saw this as the best way to realise the vision of their dream family home, close to Chig’s work in Epsom and some of the best schools in the country.

Weekly site meetings

The couple took a keen interest in the build throughout. They visited the showrooms of our kitchen, bathroom and tile suppliers and regularly attended the weekly meetings with our Site Manager.

The quarter-acre plot offered a stunning floorplan with a giant kitchen/breakfast/family room, three further reception rooms, four bedrooms, two en-suites and a family bathroom. The child-friendly features in the 2,700 square foot detached property extended to a secure, segregated soft play area in the garden.

Stamp Duty savings

Indulging Anika’s passion for fitness, much of the money saved on Stamp Duty went towards a fully-equipped home gym in the spacious garage area.

Thankfully, there was still room in the budget for Chig’s luxury ‘man cave’, complete with a cinema and a fully automated home entertainment system. By the time the project was completed, it seemed every member of the family had good reason to be happy.
